Hello! My name is Ashtyn Collins, and I am the Fennville Athletic Trainer! I have been an athletic trainer for five years, and have been in the high school setting for three of them. I started at Fennville in July of 2022.

I am contracted to Fennville through Holland Hospital, giving me direct access to multiple area physicians and health care providers. Holland Hospital partners with Shoreline Orthopedics to provide its Athletic Training services, adding to the amount of providers and resources available.

I went to high school locally at Covenant Christian High School, then received my bachelor’s in athletic training from Cedarville University. While at Cedarville, I was given opportunities to work with athletics at the middle school, high school, and DI and DII athletics. After graduating from Cedarville, I was a graduate assistant at Spalding University in Louisville, KY. I am currently getting my Master’s in Applied Kinesiology and Athlete Development from the University of Florida.

I am a nationally certified athletic trainer by the Board of Certification (BOC) and am licensed to practice in the state of Michigan. I currently live in Allendale with my husband Corey, but am looking to move to the Holland area.
